FIMS becomes Member of Sport Accord
During the SportAccord General Assembly held in Antalya-Belek on 11 April 2014 the International Federation of Sports Medicine has been approved Associate Member of. SportAccord. President Pigozzi during his speach before the vote stated:
"I really do hope that the acceptance of FIMS to become an Associate Member of SportAccord will be agreed by this Assembly, in order to give to us the unique opportunity to work closer to all its Members to better serve as reference in education, ethics and science for sports physicians and to give support in the protection of the athletes‘ health.”
